  Worst online shopping experience EVER. Ordered online, my order was split between multiple stores, each using a different courier. As the customer, I had no way of identifying which items were coming from where and with what courier.
  
  Windsor store called to say they received a part of my order and even though the items were available immediately online they were were out of stock and I would need to wait 10 days for them to order them in. Fine.
  
  Approximately two weeks later I received an automated SMS from Windsor saying that my items were ready to collect at the store. I called and they confirmed the text was sent in error and that my items would be couriered to me.
  
  Approximately a week later I had not received any of the items from the Winsdor store and emailed to follow up. I was called and advised that my items had been delivered to a Grocer store the next suburb over and was provided a reference number.
  
  I then drove the the Grocer the next suburb over, provided the reference number and my identification and received a parcel from Beacon. Once home, I realised that several items were still missing. I also realised that the address on the packing label (provided by Beacon Windsor) was incorrect and did not match the address provided by myself. I believe the incorrect transposing of the address is the reason that no delivery attempt was made, nor a calling card left, by the Courier service. By contrast, the items sent by the Fortitude Valley store were correctly labelled and received on-time.
  
  So I followed up again and was told that said items were also at the Grocer. Furthermore, and this is the real kicker, instead of taking responsibility for the endless mistakes made by the Windsor store, or showing any concern for my satisfaction as a custom, the email reply states "this doesn't normally happen" and goes on to BLAME junior staff who do not normally work in that area of the store. This reply speaks volumes about the culture and Management at Beacon Windsor.
  
  Cue my second trip to Grocer store the next suburb over, and I finally collect the two additional parcels that were supposed to be delivered and have held up my renovation project by no less than 3 weeks.
  
  Rude, incompetent and appalling customer service. NEVER shop at Beacon Windsor, or Beacon online.

  Trying to find a replacement lamp glass for a ceiling fan light. It was obviously far too trivial for the three Beacon team members there who were clearly disinterested in helping us. Pity that it is the bad times that you remember because a few weeks before that we bought6 4 ceiling fans from another Beacon Lighting store and the service there was bloody amazing compared to this store.....

  Well my experience from this store is completely different from last year.Alaina was truly helpful and well knowledgeable of the products . Brand and product awareness is a plus when you go to any business type store. She was able to address and offer recommend alternatives solutions which worked perfectly for what we required for our kitchen lighting. Highly recommended. Excellent job Alaina
